ONLINE AND IN-PERSON MEDIATION

Jeff is available to serve as a mediator in a variety of consumer, commercial, interpersonal, and family disputes (listed below). He follows the Hawai'i model of facilitative mediation for most cases, but is available for directive and evaluative mediation for certain types of cases. Jeff conducts most of his mediations and arbitrations online, but is available for in-person sessions in Washington and Hawai'i. He is also available as an arbitrator for several types of civil, consumer, commercial, and family disputes. Jeff's hourly rate for online mediation and arbitration is $300; he offers several time- and cost-effective flat-fee and hourly fee options.

HOURLY & FLAT-FEE OPTIONS

- Hourly Rate - $300 for online mediation; $400 for in-person mediation 
- Online Settlement Conference – up to 2 hours of mediation time plus up to 1 hour of preparation time, flat fee $250 per party (small claim,  consumer, residential eviction only)
- Online Half-Day Mediation – up to 4 hours of mediation time plus up to 2 hours of preparation time, flat fee $500 per party, hourly rate after 4 hours
- Online Full-Day Mediation – up to 8 hours of mediation time plus up to 2 hours of preparation time, $1000 per party, hourly rate after 8 hours
- Hourly Retainer Mediation – for longer multi-session cases especially multi-issue divorce and multi-party business and family matters, fee deposit required based on estimated length of mediation/arbitration determined on a case-by-case basis 

- Nonrefundable administrative, rescheduling, and cancellation fees may apply in some cases

FAMILY/DIVORCE MEDIATION

Jeff mediates family law and divorce cases including property division, parenting, custody, and relocation. He has many years of experience as a Washington divorce attorney and family mediator, and  served as CASA volunteer, which gives him valuable insight into the interests and emotions of the parties and children involved in contested custody cases. In addition to providing family and divorce mediation in Washington, Jeff serves as a volunteer divorce mediator with The Mediation Center of the Pacific. SCHEDULING

Jeff is available for online mediation and arbitration on weekdays between 9 a.m. Pacific Time and 5 p.m. Hawai'i Time, and also evenings and weekends by special arrangement. It's best to schedule a session at least two weeks in advance (longer if in-person mediation is requested), but Jeff is usually available for online settlement conferences and half-day mediations and arbitrations on short notice as his calendar allows.
